These crispy samosas are filled with a spiced yak KC NY strip steak mixture and served with a tangy yogurt dip. They are a flavorful and unique appetizer perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Yak KC NY Strip Steak, finely chopped
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package phyllo dough
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until soft, then add the finely chopped yak steak and spices. Cook until browned and fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cut phyllo dough into strips and brush with olive oil.
  4. Place a spoonful of the yak mixture at one end of each strip, then fold into a triangle shape.
  5. Place samosas on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, and mint to make the dip.
  8. Serve samosas with the yogurt dip.
