These crispy samosas are filled with a spiced yak KC NY strip steak mixture and served with a tangy yogurt dip. They are a flavorful and unique appetizer perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- 1 Yak KC NY Strip Steak, finely chopped
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package phyllo dough
- Olive oil for brushing
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until soft, then add the finely chopped yak steak and spices. Cook until browned and fragrant. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cut phyllo dough into strips and brush with olive oil.
- Place a spoonful of the yak mixture at one end of each strip, then fold into a triangle shape.
- Place samosas on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, and mint to make the dip.
- Serve samosas with the yogurt dip.
