This Thai-inspired dish features tender yak sirloin steak stir-fried with rice noodles, vegetables, and a tangy tamarind sauce. It’s a delicious and satisfying meal that brings the flavors of Thailand to your table.
Ingredients:
- 2 Yak Sirloin Steaks, thinly sliced
- 8 oz rice noodles
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup tamarind paste
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 cup crushed peanuts
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add yak sirloin slices and cook until browned. Push to the side of the skillet.
- Add eggs to the skillet and scramble until cooked through.
- Stir in bean sprouts, bell pepper, and green onions.
- In a bowl, mix tamarind paste, fish sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Pour over the noodle mixture and toss to combine.
- Serve topped with crushed peanuts and fresh cilantro.
