This Thai-inspired dish features tender yak sirloin steak stir-fried with rice noodles, vegetables, and a tangy tamarind sauce. It’s a delicious and satisfying meal that brings the flavors of Thailand to your table.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Yak Sirloin Steaks, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup tamarind paste
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup crushed peanuts
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Add yak sirloin slices and cook until browned. Push to the side of the skillet.
  4. Add eggs to the skillet and scramble until cooked through.
  5. Stir in bean sprouts, bell pepper, and green onions.
  6. In a bowl, mix tamarind paste, fish sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Pour over the noodle mixture and toss to combine.
  7. Serve topped with crushed peanuts and fresh cilantro.
